Today Triine Nirgi defended successfully her PhD theses `Holocene relative shore-level changes and geoarchaeology of the prehistoric sites in western Estonia`. New RSL reconstructions together with discovered submerged landscapes presented in the theses provide new perspective for looking Mesolithic hunter-fisher-gatherer settlement sites on the banks of the submerged ca. 9000 years old river channel in the bottom of the present-day Pärnu Bay, eastern Baltic Sea.
